# MTJudge vs Skaters

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MTJudge at none against Skaters's 6. MTJudge also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 weeks). Skaters's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skaters sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. MTJudge asks for nothing beyond the download.

MTJudge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skaters has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MTJudge ships an update every 2 days, Skaters every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
