# Learn Hebrew vs Write It! Hebrew

The clearest difference is monetization model: Write It! Hebrew at free with in-app purchases against Learn Hebrew's subscription. Write It! Hebrew also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (2K vs 310). Learn Hebrew's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Hebrew sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Write It! Hebrew sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Learn Hebrew against 4.8 for Write It! Hebrew. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Write It! Hebrew has 2K ratings behind it against 310, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of Learn Hebrew's written reviews are positive against 81% of Write It! Hebrew's.

Learn Hebrew ships an update every 2 months, Write It! Hebrew every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
