# Congas vs Oboe Sim

The clearest difference is ads: Congas at none against Oboe Sim's shown. Congas also leads on ratings volume (360 vs 4) and rating (3.7 vs 3.5). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Congas sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Oboe Sim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Congas holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Congas has 360 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Congas ships an update every 2 months, Oboe Sim every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
