# Congas vs Drum Kit

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Congas at 66% against Drum Kit's 23%. Congas also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 10 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Congas sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Drum Kit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Congas holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Congas has 360 ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of Congas's written reviews are positive against 23% of Drum Kit's.

Congas ships an update every 2 months, Drum Kit every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
