# The Chippewa Herald vs The Eagle BCS

The clearest difference is rating: The Eagle BCS at 4.3 against The Chippewa Herald's 3.5. The Eagle BCS also leads on ratings volume (229 vs 11). The Chippewa Herald's advantage is review sentiment (57% vs 42%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Chippewa Herald sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $25.99 per month and The Eagle BCS sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $25.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

The Eagle BCS holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Eagle BCS has 229 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of The Chippewa Herald's written reviews are positive against 42% of The Eagle BCS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
