# Yes Session vs QuickNotes X Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: QuickNotes X Pro at monthly against Yes Session's every 36 months. QuickNotes X Pro also leads on ratings volume (38 vs 1) and review sentiment (63% vs 50%). Yes Session's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and price ($0.99 vs $5.99). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Yes Session costs $0.99 and QuickNotes X Pro $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yes Session holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuickNotes X Pro has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Yes Session's written reviews are positive against 63% of QuickNotes X Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yes Session ships an update every 36 months, QuickNotes X Pro monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
