# Yandex Mail vs Temp Mail

The clearest difference is rating: Yandex Mail at 4.7 against Temp Mail's 4.4. Yandex Mail also leads on ratings volume (16K vs 558). Temp Mail's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yandex Mail sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Temp Mail sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Yandex Mail holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yandex Mail has 16K ratings behind it against 558, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Yandex Mail's written reviews are positive against 67% of Temp Mail's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yandex Mail ships an update every 10 days, Temp Mail weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
