# Yandex Mail vs mail.com

Yandex Mail and mail.com both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 76% of mail.com's written reviews are positive against 46% of Yandex Mail's. mail.com also leads on ratings volume (105K vs 15K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yandex Mail sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and mail.com sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Yandex Mail against 4.7 for mail.com. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mail.com has 105K ratings behind it against 15K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 46% of Yandex Mail's written reviews are positive against 76% of mail.com's.

Yandex Mail ships an update every 10 days, mail.com fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
