# Mobile Locker vs Allergan

The clearest difference is monetization model: Allergan at free against Mobile Locker's freemium. Allergan also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.6). Mobile Locker's advantage is ratings volume (348 vs 2) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Allergan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mobile Locker has 348 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mobile Locker ships an update every 6 days, Allergan every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
