# Digipost vs BIR

The clearest difference is update cadence: Digipost at every 9 days against BIR's every 3 months. Digipost also leads on ratings volume (148 vs 7). BIR's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Digipost against 4.6 for BIR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digipost has 148 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Digipost ships an update every 9 days, BIR every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
