# TV PRIMETIME vs Elevate TV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Elevate TV at none against TV PRIMETIME's 3. TV PRIMETIME's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV PRIMETIME sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Elevate TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

TV PRIMETIME holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of TV PRIMETIME's written reviews are positive against 100% of Elevate TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TV PRIMETIME ships an update every 3 months, Elevate TV every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
