# TV PRIMETIME vs TV Pro Classic

The clearest difference is monetization model: TV Pro Classic at free with in-app purchases against TV PRIMETIME's subscription. TV Pro Classic also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (40 vs 3). TV PRIMETIME's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV PRIMETIME sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TV Pro Classic sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for TV PRIMETIME against 4.7 for TV Pro Classic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV Pro Classic has 40 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 95% and 96% positive.

TV PRIMETIME ships an update every 3 months, TV Pro Classic every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
