# Brainscape vs Hi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Hi at none against Brainscape's 4. Hi also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 16.6). Brainscape's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 1) and chart position (#160 vs unranked). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainscape sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Hi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Hi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brainscape has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
