# Brainscape vs UpperMark TestBank

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Brainscape at 82% against UpperMark TestBank's 20%. Brainscape also leads on rating (4.8 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (22K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainscape sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and UpperMark TestBank sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
