# Brainscape vs MyUoY

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MyUoY at none against Brainscape's 4. MyUoY also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Brainscape's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainscape sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. MyUoY asks for nothing beyond the download.

MyUoY holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brainscape has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
