# Brainscape vs AI Flashcard Maker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Brainscape at 21K against AI Flashcard Maker's 1. Brainscape also leads on chart position (#195 vs unranked). AI Flashcard Maker's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainscape sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and AI Flashcard Maker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
