# BeFunky vs Flashop

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flashop at every 10 days against BeFunky's every 2 months. Flashop also leads on review sentiment (85% vs 75%). BeFunky's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 44) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeFunky sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Flashop sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BeFunky holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BeFunky has 11K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of BeFunky's written reviews are positive against 85% of Flashop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BeFunky ships an update every 2 months, Flashop every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
