# It's Playing vs Video Saver

The clearest difference is rating: Video Saver at 5.0 against It's Playing's 4.0. Video Saver also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). It's Playing's advantage is ratings volume (69 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. It's Playing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Video Saver sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Video Saver holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: It's Playing has 69 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

It's Playing ships an update every 2 months, Video Saver every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
