# iAquaLink vs GenSpring Link

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GenSpring Link at 100% against iAquaLink's 28%. GenSpring Link also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.2). iAquaLink's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (101K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iAquaLink holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iAquaLink has 101K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of iAquaLink's written reviews are positive against 100% of GenSpring Link's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iAquaLink ships an update every 2 months, GenSpring Link every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
