# iAquaLink vs aerMist

The clearest difference is rating: iAquaLink at 4.7 against aerMist's 3.7. iAquaLink also leads on ratings volume (101K vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 15.6). aerMist's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iAquaLink holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iAquaLink has 101K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iAquaLink ships an update every 2 months, aerMist every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
