# iAquaLink vs Septilink

The clearest difference is monetization model: Septilink at free against iAquaLink's free with in-app purchases. Septilink also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). iAquaLink's advantage is ratings volume (101K vs 5) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Septilink holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iAquaLink has 101K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iAquaLink ships an update every 2 months, Septilink fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
