# Portafirmas vs TAOMobile

The clearest difference is update cadence: TAOMobile at every 5 months against Portafirmas's every 32 months. Portafirmas's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Portafirmas ships an update every 32 months, TAOMobile every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
