# iSyn Poly vs Thesys

The clearest difference is price: Thesys at Free against iSyn Poly's $0.99. Thesys also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (85 vs 4). iSyn Poly's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.6). On review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Thesys is free to download; iSyn Poly costs $0.99 up front. Thesys sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. iSyn Poly asks for nothing beyond the download.

Thesys holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thesys has 85 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of iSyn Poly's written reviews are positive against 59% of Thesys's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iSyn Poly ships an update every 6 months, Thesys every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
