# ChmPlus Lite vs Markdown゜

The clearest difference is rating: Markdown゜ at 4.6 against ChmPlus Lite's 3.6. Markdown゜ also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ChmPlus Lite's advantage is review sentiment (49% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Markdown゜ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Markdown゜ has 511 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of ChmPlus Lite's written reviews are positive against 31% of Markdown゜'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ChmPlus Lite ships an update monthly, Markdown゜ every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
