# Swim Time Conversion vs Ultimate Stopwatch

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ultimate Stopwatch at 87% against Swim Time Conversion's 25%. Ultimate Stopwatch also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 45 months) and ratings volume (67 vs 2). Swim Time Conversion's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and price ($1.99 vs $3.99). On in-app purchases, monetization model, chart position and device support there is nothing between them.

Swim Time Conversion costs $1.99 and Ultimate Stopwatch $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Swim Time Conversion holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ultimate Stopwatch has 67 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Swim Time Conversion's written reviews are positive against 87% of Ultimate Stopwatch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Swim Time Conversion ships an update every 45 months, Ultimate Stopwatch every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on August 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
