# Measure Map Pro vs SurfacePro

The clearest difference is rating: SurfacePro at 5.0 against Measure Map Pro's 4.6. Measure Map Pro's advantage is ratings volume (872 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Measure Map Pro sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and SurfacePro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SurfacePro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Measure Map Pro has 872 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Measure Map Pro ships an update every 2 months, SurfacePro monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
