# Age Editor vs FutureSelf

The clearest difference is rating: FutureSelf at 5.0 against Age Editor's 3.3. FutureSelf also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Age Editor's advantage is ratings volume (191 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Age Editor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FutureSelf sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FutureSelf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Age Editor has 191 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Age Editor ships an update every 2 months, FutureSelf every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
