# NyxQuest vs Shockbot

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NyxQuest at 86% against Shockbot's 50%. NyxQuest also leads on ratings volume (59 vs 17). Shockbot's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NyxQuest sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Shockbot sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shockbot holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 59 and 17 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of NyxQuest's written reviews are positive against 50% of Shockbot's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NyxQuest ships an update every 3 months, Shockbot every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
