# Calculator for iPad! vs Calculator‰

The clearest difference is ads: Calculator for iPad! at none against Calculator‰'s shown. Calculator for iPad! also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Calculator‰'s advantage is ratings volume (409K vs 61K). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Calculator‰ holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculator‰ has 409K ratings behind it against 61K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Calculator for iPad!'s written reviews are positive against 70% of Calculator‰'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Calculator for iPad! ships an update every 7 months, Calculator‰ every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
