# iBaloot vs Jackaroo

The clearest difference is rating: Jackaroo at 4.5 against iBaloot's 2.3. Jackaroo also leads on ratings volume (416 vs 18). iBaloot's advantage is review sentiment (35% vs 8%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iBaloot sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 3 months and Jackaroo sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jackaroo holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jackaroo has 416 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of iBaloot's written reviews are positive against 8% of Jackaroo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iBaloot ships an update fortnightly, Jackaroo every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
