# 4shared Mobile vs G

4shared Mobile and G both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 54% of 4shared Mobile's written reviews are positive against 16% of G's. 4shared Mobile also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 140). G's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 4shared Mobile sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and G sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for 4shared Mobile against 4.4 for G. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 4shared Mobile has 1.1K ratings behind it against 140, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of 4shared Mobile's written reviews are positive against 16% of G's.

4shared Mobile ships an update every 2 months, G fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
