# myENV vs AQI

The clearest difference is rating: myENV at 4.2 against AQI's 3.4. myENV also leads on ratings volume (324 vs 16) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). AQI's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

myENV holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myENV has 324 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of myENV's written reviews are positive against 42% of AQI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

myENV ships an update monthly, AQI weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
