# QQ vs Weibo intl.

The clearest difference is rating: Weibo intl. at 3.2 against QQ's 2.7. Weibo intl. also leads on iOS requirement (13 vs 15.0). QQ's advantage is chart position (#92 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QQ sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Weibo intl. sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weibo intl. holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 9K and 4.8K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 18% of QQ's written reviews are positive against 14% of Weibo intl.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

QQ ships an update every 9 days, Weibo intl. every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
