# QQ vs 点外

The clearest difference is rating: 点外 at 5.0 against QQ's 2.7. 点外 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). QQ's advantage is ratings volume (9K vs 1) and chart position (#107 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QQ sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and 点外 sells 23 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

点外 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QQ has 9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

QQ ships an update every 2 weeks, 点外 every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
