# QQ vs BatChat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BatChat at 86% against QQ's 18%. BatChat also leads on rating (3.5 vs 2.7) and ads (none vs shown). QQ's advantage is ratings volume (9K vs 99) and chart position (#86 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QQ sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and BatChat sells 27 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BatChat holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QQ has 9K ratings behind it against 99, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 18% of QQ's written reviews are positive against 86% of BatChat's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
