# UMiami vs 2PD

The clearest difference is rating: 2PD at 5.0 against UMiami's 3.8. 2PD also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). UMiami's advantage is ratings volume (23 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

2PD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UMiami has 23 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

UMiami ships an update every 6 months, 2PD every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
