The clearest difference is ads: 3ci at none against The Laser Lab's shown. The Laser Lab's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

3ci ships an update every 4 months, The Laser Lab every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
