# Reliance Matrix vs Bright NOW

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bright NOW at 100% against Reliance Matrix's 36%. Reliance Matrix's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Reliance Matrix holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reliance Matrix has 12K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Reliance Matrix's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bright NOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reliance Matrix ships an update every 5 weeks, Bright NOW every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
