# Reliance Matrix vs Nectar

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nectar at 91% against Reliance Matrix's 36%. Nectar also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). Reliance Matrix's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 100) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Reliance Matrix holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reliance Matrix has 13K ratings behind it against 100, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Reliance Matrix's written reviews are positive against 91% of Nectar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reliance Matrix ships an update every 5 weeks, Nectar every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
