# Reliance Matrix vs AlertMedia

Reliance Matrix and AlertMedia both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of AlertMedia's written reviews are positive against 36% of Reliance Matrix's. AlertMedia also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). Reliance Matrix's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 135) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Reliance Matrix against 4.5 for AlertMedia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reliance Matrix has 12K ratings behind it against 135, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 36% of Reliance Matrix's written reviews are positive against 87% of AlertMedia's.

Reliance Matrix ships an update every 5 weeks, AlertMedia fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
