# Jigsaws vs Jigsaw Puzzles Animals

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Jigsaw Puzzles Animals at 94% against Jigsaws's 42%. Jigsaw Puzzles Animals also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (37 vs 7). Jigsaws's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jigsaw Puzzles Animals sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Jigsaws asks for nothing beyond the download.

Jigsaws holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jigsaw Puzzles Animals has 37 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Jigsaws's written reviews are positive against 94% of Jigsaw Puzzles Animals's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Jigsaws ships an update every 3 months, Jigsaw Puzzles Animals monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
