# Bugs and Buttons vs Touch and Write

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Touch and Write at 94% against Bugs and Buttons's 69%. Touch and Write also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months) and chart position (#179 vs unranked). Bugs and Buttons's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (56 vs 9). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Bugs and Buttons costs $0.99 and Touch and Write $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bugs and Buttons holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bugs and Buttons has 56 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Bugs and Buttons's written reviews are positive against 94% of Touch and Write's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
