# QQ通讯录 vs PDF Reader

The clearest difference is rating: PDF Reader at 4.0 against QQ通讯录's 2.3. PDF Reader also leads on ratings volume (91 vs 8). QQ通讯录's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and iOS requirement (4.3 vs 9.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Reader sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. QQ通讯录 asks for nothing beyond the download.

PDF Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Reader has 91 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of QQ通讯录's written reviews are positive against 47% of PDF Reader's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

QQ通讯录 ships an update every 3 weeks, PDF Reader monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
