# Partial Fractions vs TT Pre

The clearest difference is price: TT Pre at Free against Partial Fractions's $1.99. TT Pre also leads on rating (3.3 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). Partial Fractions's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 29%). On ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

TT Pre is free to download; Partial Fractions costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TT Pre holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TT Pre has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Partial Fractions's written reviews are positive against 29% of TT Pre's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Partial Fractions ships an update every 7 months, TT Pre every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
