# DTE Energy vs PracticeDilly

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PracticeDilly at 100% against DTE Energy's 40%. DTE Energy's advantage is ratings volume (19K vs 8) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DTE Energy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DTE Energy has 19K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of DTE Energy's written reviews are positive against 100% of PracticeDilly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DTE Energy ships an update every 5 weeks, PracticeDilly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
