# DTE Energy vs Notifications

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Notifications at 100% against DTE Energy's 40%. Notifications also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). DTE Energy's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (19K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DTE Energy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DTE Energy has 19K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of DTE Energy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Notifications's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DTE Energy ships an update every 5 weeks, Notifications every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
