# Ohio State vs Laureata

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ohio State at 52% against Laureata's 0%. Ohio State also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ratings volume (785 vs 6). Laureata's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Laureata sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Ohio State asks for nothing beyond the download.

Laureata holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ohio State has 785 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Ohio State's written reviews are positive against 0% of Laureata's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ohio State ships an update every 5 days, Laureata fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
