# Piano 2 ! vs TfxMod

The clearest difference is price: Piano 2 ! at Free against TfxMod's $4.99. Piano 2 ! also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.6). TfxMod's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On rating, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Piano 2 ! is free to download; TfxMod costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Piano 2 ! holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TfxMod has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Piano 2 !'s written reviews are positive against 100% of TfxMod's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
