# Twincle vs Shift Calendar

The clearest difference is price: Shift Calendar at Free against Twincle's $1.99. Shift Calendar also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (329 vs 2). Twincle's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and in-app purchases (none vs 5). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Shift Calendar is free to download; Twincle costs $1.99 up front. Shift Calendar sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Twincle asks for nothing beyond the download.

Shift Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shift Calendar has 329 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Twincle's written reviews are positive against 65% of Shift Calendar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Twincle ships an update every 6 months, Shift Calendar every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
