# Nitro RC vs Drone Racing Cup 3D

The clearest difference is rating: Drone Racing Cup 3D at 4.8 against Nitro RC's 3.9. Drone Racing Cup 3D also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). Nitro RC's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 11 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nitro RC sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Drone Racing Cup 3D asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drone Racing Cup 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nitro RC has 56 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Nitro RC's written reviews are positive against 50% of Drone Racing Cup 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
